Dennis Rodman, one of the greats in the NBA and a name that’ll be spoken about throughout history! Rodman did a two-season stint with the San Antonio Spurs between 1993-1995 where he won his third and fourth straight rebounding title (despite missing 19 games that season), gained another All-Defensive Team call-up! In the 1993-94 NBA season, Rodman joined the Spurs line up, playing as a power forward and averaging 17.3 board per game. This was the year that Rodman really began to make the papers and not just for his incredible effort on the court. Rodman ditched the “shy imposter” vibes, moving into the year of “being himself” which saw him shaving his hair and dying it blonde. Beginning one of the many iconic hair styles and colours that Rodman sported over the years. In the same season he headbutted another player, was paired with Madonna, became close with reserve centre Jack Haley and helped bring the Spurs to 55 wins that season!
